Purpose

Our International Service Committee supports Rotary International’s Fourth Object of Service –i.e. the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace --  with its commitment to  expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe through project efforts for the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.   Included also is the support of Rotary International Aid for disaster areas.

Current Goals

To seek and participate in new international projects and partnerships around the world by sponsoring and cooperating in projects in another country, supporting international project partners with projects in their own communities, doing smaller focus area pilot projects in another country, and by personally volunteering at an international project site.  Included also is the support of Rotary aid to emergencies and disasters worldwide.

Why Join Us?

We work to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves in other parts of the world.   We seek members who would like to work with other ISC members and participate in Humanitarian Grant projects as well as other Rotary International Service projects undertaken by the committee.  We enjoy fellowship and inspiration at occasional off-site meetings.
