Day at the Races!

The Surf again meets the Turf for our Annual Day at the Races. This a members-only event. The $20 fee for lunch and drinks will be billed to your account, but bring a few extra dollars for betting and for generous tips to our servers. Sign up at an upcoming meeting, or email Marty Peters. 

On the day of the event, look for a little table (likely staffed by Marty and a few other members) just outside the gates where you can pick up passes to enter the grounds. After picking up your pass, head to the elevators inside the grandstand and go to Il Palio restaurant, high above the track. Gentlemen- remember to wear a jacket (no denim or shorts) and ladies, well, you’ll know what to wear.  We’re grateful to our generous host and honorary member, Joe Harper, for sponsoring this outing.
