Horseshoe & Cornhole Tournament

The Rotary Club of Del Mar supported the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito on August 28th for their annual Horseshoe & Cornhole Tournament at Del Mar North Dog Beach.  Volunteers grilled burgers and performed sales and support activities.  We also ate burgers and drank beer; someone had to do it.

 

Of course, tent shades could be obtained for a donation as did our PDG Marty Peters.  Jan and Eric Nelte cooled their heels in the shade.   The overcast weather provided an enjoyable event for all volunteers and contestants.
