Don Fipps kicked off the October 25, 2018 Happy Dollars by being happy to have won the Chili & Quackers cookoff with his IPA Spcial Chili; Suzy Wagner was super happy to share some her winnings from her speedy Chili & Quackers duck;  Kit Leeger was happy that after 3 years, the St. Peter’s renovation project she’s guiding has at last reached story pole phase; Janice Kurth was double happy in anticipation of an upcoming trip to Japan where she’ll reconnect with a Tokyo Rotarian she’s worked with over the years; Matt Kurth was super happy for the success of Chili & Quackers; Marty Peters was double happy that the fire department wasn’t really needed to get him back on his feet at Chili & Quackers and that he had a ticket to the Notre Dame-Navy game that he would exchange for a $50 donation to the Rotary Club of Del Mar Foundation Trust; Ed Siegel was happy that Chandra Collure was a grandfather and that the latest installment of his calendar books- which he’s maintained since 1974- that he'd lost in Pensacola Florida were safely returned to him; Chandra Collure was of course super happy about the birth of his first grandchild in Santa Monica; and Marlene Gotz was happy that she was able to take her 14 year-old grandson Tyler with her to Boston to celebrate her mother’s 93rd birthday.  What will you be happy about at next week’s meeting?
