The 14th annual Sunset Soiree at the Del Mar Plaza was a wonderful evening filled with wine, food and friends. Thank you to all who came and to all those who worked so hard to make this event one of the most successful we’ve had. Paul Chunyk was event chair and Kit Leeger again took on the huge job of getting all the auction items into appealing packages that were key for getting the maximum bids. Thank you as well to Marlene Gotz for taking care of event setup, Mark Mathess and Val Myers for making sure there were plenty of drinks to sample, the Wagners for securing the food vendors, Barrett Smith for making the check in and online registration so smooth, Monty Wooley for getting program advertisers, and Jim Brunner for printing the programs. We are grateful to all the vendors and auction item donors for helping us to raise the funds that support all of our club’s projects.
