Our past president Bob Fuchs passed away on December 17, 2023 shortly after suffering a stroke. He was 79 years-old. Bob served as club president for Rotary Year 2004-2005, and was instrumental in making the Sunset Soirée a reality. He also revived Chili & Quackers in 2017 and organized several work projects at San Dieguito Lagoon, a place that was very important to him. Bob provided strong leadership for the Rotary Club of Del Mar Foundation, which provides the funds to drive our projects. We send our condolences to the Fuchs family and will have fond memories of Bob’s outstanding service to the club. He will be missed.
