San Diego State University Athletic Programs

John David Wicker became Director of Intercollegiate Athletics for San Diego State University in November 2016. He oversees the athletic programs at SDSU, many of which have enjoyed tremendous success in recent years. He will discuss SDSU athletics and how the SDSU proposal for development in Mission Valley compares with that made by SoccerCity SD.

Wicker graduated has a bachelor's degree in professional accountancy from Mississippi State and a master's degree in education with an emphasis in sports management from University of Georgia. Prior to joining SDSU, Wicker served for a number of NCAA Division I athletic programs, including Washington State, Southern Mississippi, and Georgia Tech
