District 5340 Governor Janice Kurth

District 5340 Governor Janice Kurth addressed the Rotary Club of Del Mar on how she became a Rotarian and her path to District Governor.  She accepted a Rotary luncheon invitation, rather reluctantly, from her neighbor.  She instantly realized Rotarians were her kind of people, actively trying to make the world a better place.  Her Rotary trip to Africa had a deep impact on her and still with her today.  She has made long term friendships.  By giving her efforts to humanitarian projects, giving a "gift" to the world, as it were, she always receives a "gift" in return.  From the first Rotary luncheon, to becoming District Governor, Janice is "all in" Rotary.
