5 Applicants for Membership

We have five new applicants who you have been meeting at recent Club meetings, and who have completed the initial processing and been approved by the Board of Directors for membership.   The last step in the processing is this notice to you as a member of our Club.    If anyone has an objection to our inviting any of these candidates into membership, you are requested to respond within the next seven days giving reason.  Otherwise, we assume you agree with the action of the Board to move forward toward induction.

The applicants are:

Matt Kurth, MD, PhD., sponsored by wife Janice, his classification is Pharmaceutical Medicine.  Matt lists hiking, traveling and wine tasting as his hobbies/interests .... and we all know his keen interest in Rotary as well.

Dugan Moore, sponsored by her close friend Philippe, shows her classification as Theater Investments.  Among hobbies/interests are art and traveling.

Sharon Schendel, PhD.,  sponsored by Katie Nielsen, lists Scientist-Advisor - Graduate Education Specialist  as her classification with interests being golf, bowling, cycling  and Hardanger embroidery!

Lanh Tran (pronounced ‘Lawn’), sponsored by Peggy Martin has the classification of Banker and lists traveling,  foodie, spending time with their dog, going to the beach, hiking, yoga and working out as her special activities ...  She’ll be married next month in Hawaii to Bill Nguyen.

Mary Savoy, sponsored by Bob Fuchs, is a registered nurse with the classification of healthcare technology - clinical marketing.  She lists cooking, hiking and traveling among her activities with volunteering on medical missions as a special interest.
