Children's Peace Initiative Kenya

Children’s Peace Initiative (CPI) Kenya seeks to build bridges between children and families living in neighboring communities by creating opportunities for them to engage in the peace process.  By fostering friendships between children living in rival communities, CPI sows the seeds of peace that grow into peaceful cooperation for the benefit of all. 

Jane Kinyua is a founding member of CPI and has worked with several NGOs in Kenya and Tanzania that are engaged in community development.  Jane is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Peace Studies at the University of San Diego.
