Retired NCIS agent turned author

A retired Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Agent, Jeffrey Seay served in the Far East in counterintelligence, counter-terrorism, and force protection operations. He was the Personal Security Adviser to the Commander of the Seventh Fleet, and ran counterintelligence collection operations in support of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq between 2003 and 2004. 

Seay’s Ruben Carver novel series chronicles the adventure of NCIS agent Ruben Carver; the most recent installment, “The Jihadist List”, was published in 2016.
