Advocacy for Sexual Assault Survivors

Pissed Off Chicks (PoC) has empowered women for over 20 years through community outreach programs that teach real world self-defense techniques that help girls and women avoid confrontations and defend themselves should a confrontation occur. PoC provides dozens of outreach events annually and engages in philanthropic activities to collect donations of money and household goods to help women who have been abused begin new lives.

PoC founder Anne Marie Milhalkinan is a certified expert instructor by Krav Maga Worldwide and has trained in self-defense disciplines for over 25 years. She was a SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) crisis counselor and advocate who worked closely with local police for on-site aid to victims of domestic violence. As a SART, Anne helped counsel and find safe places for these victims and their families to begin again.
